The tram bus will take you up the canyon. No cars allowed past visitors center. Many trails to hike. Emerald Ponds, Weeping rock, the Narrows, the lodge area some of my favorites.

I don’t know how long we will stop there. The tour director said that we’d see all the highlights. I’m guessing maybe from the road as the bus drives by. Did you do Angels Landing?

Angels landing trail is closed due to washouts in July. No opening date. Busses bypassing trail start.
You wouldn’t have time for it anyway.

Also the trail to the middle and upper emerald pools closed, but you can take the trail from the lodge to the lower pool.

I would try to take a swing at a part of the Narrows.. It is a spectacular hike... even if you only go in 1/2 mile and then back out.

The river has come way down from the monsoon when we got here last Tuesday. The next few days are predicted to be dry so might be OK when you come. It is OK now.
I’m leaving tomorrow.

Hidden Canyon closed this morning. Landslide last night. No projections on reopening. They are still busy on Angels Landing etc.
