The military personnel go through quite a bit to do that job. I "googled" it and it is quite something. I could have spent a lot more time there. we actually saw a funeral procession go by outside the Tomb of the Unknown, very sobering of course. One of the guides told us there was 23 funerals going on at Arlington that day. Unreal!

I definitely recommend it to anyone, but pack your good walking shoes. We walked 5-8 miles a day.
