Does anyone know? I looked at a few pictures of different mounts online, but couldn't really tell.

Google took me to eBay who says this might be a mount for Pentax K or Minolta MD or Canon FD.

Really? Interesting. It doesn't fit on my XE-7 or my 300si. Is this a 3rd Minolta mount?

Not Pentax. I have about 24 actual Asahi Pentax K-mount lenses. Plus a few off-brands and Pentax M-42 Takumars.
Yes, MC stands for Multicoated. I've seen even Sears lenses with that mark.

Minolta changed mounts over time. MC, MD, AF or A mount. The MC most likely means a Minolta/Konica lens.

That's what I thought. I also thought that the MC and the MD were interchangeable. I never thought about MC meaning Multi-Coated. Although that makes sense. I will be digging out some old lenses today and checking.
