They work. But at some point the battery will run out and you will have to buy the whole thing again. BTW, Last Location is the same as current location.
What if you lose your phone?

The only tile I have ever used was in the bathroom, always know where they are.

They have a "trade-in" program, but it seems the cost is about the same as a new one. As for the "last location" being the current location, I figured that, but they have bad wording. It's like the police asking who was the last to see a murder victim. Obviously, it was the murderer.
And they cost much less per unit.

My wife has one on her keys and we've used it a couple times to find them. The beep isn't very loud and you do have to get within about 20 feet to hear it.
Trouble is, I keep misplacing both my keys and my phone. Distrustful as I am about this stuff, I'm sure some miscreant will learn how to hack into them for any number of nefarious activities.
I have been a tile user for several years and absolutely love them. Very reliable and you can locate one on your smart phone, make it do its tone, and show direction to it on the phone. On a recent trip my backpack went missing in the sercurity screening area and I thought it was a goner. Opened the tile app and it showed as "nearby" so was able to breath again and go right to it! All my bags and luggage have them now!
We just call our cell phone on our land line

I gave up my land line a couple years ago. It was 99% spam.

I got Call Blocker CPR 5000, and my telemarketing calls have virtually stopped. Excellent product.

They have a new version that's louder and with greater range. Still trying to decide, but for $25, it's not a major investment. The online reviews haven't been great.
I would try one. The standard range seems fine to me, but I would order a pack of 4 since you will want to put them in everything!

$100 is too much to risk. Maybe I'll try one and see how it works out. With my luck, I'll never misplace anything after I get the Tiles.
