The B&W images were captured using expired Kodak Portra 400BW and the color images use expired Fuji Superia 100 (although the C-17 is fresh Kodak Extra100). Processing and scanning was performed by North Coast Photography Services and the 5035x3339 scanned JPEGs were processed further in Lightroom.
The images are sized to fill your wide-screen display. Try using <F11> to maximize your browser window for the full effect. If the images overshoot your display, such as a laptop, just click on the image or the URL link and they'll resize to your screen from the host Flickr site. You can click a bit further into the image details on the Flickr page, if desired. EXIF data is available from the host Flickr pages as well. On the Flickr site, use your <L>key for Large and the <F11> for the full-screen.

Thank you John (jaymatt), billnikon, W5RA, jerryc41, sleepy51, lamontcranston, jederick! Shooting film is something different. These are from an EOS 1v where I could seemlessly change EF lenses with my DSLR. It was a challange to avoid taking the same shots of the same planes and wasting the film. Glad you enjoyed.

I am from Appleton and live in Norway... have been there many times, nice photos!
.. back around 19 or 80 a P51 Mustang dented the roof on our 77 Pinto Wagon when it veered a little too right when landing... the EAA used to have cars come in down a taxi lane back then to park on the grass. We were young and the free week long passes seemed perfectly reasonable to keep it to ourselves ;)
