Nice, get out there and drive it. My '05 has over 111,000 miles on it, it's my daily driver except in the snow. I think they run better when you drive them.

He'd love to but with his job he finds it hard to find the time. A lot depends on where you live. You may be hesitated to park your Vette out at work if you lived in an area that had frequent and damaging hail storms. I'd never take a Vette out driving in the snow either. He has an 83 El Camino that has been built to the hilt from the ground up and that will soon be a daily driver when he is in town. Parks the Vette up on a lift in his garage and has a Toyota Tacoma parked underneath and not that old with almost 200,000 on it. Is your Vette auto or stick?

It is an automatic, I would have preferred a manual trans, but I sustained a left knee injury a few years ago, so it's auto for me now. It is a 5 speed so I get pretty good gas mileage, better than the EPA rating. I had a 4cyl. Honda Accord that got the same mileage, 19 around town and 28 hwy. Not bad for 400hp/400lb.ft of torque.

The other aspect of this beauty is the red stripe tires. The one I saw the other day had them also. I assume somebody still makes them. Once again, sweet.

Coker makes them.

I'm glad somebody does. They wouldn't look right without that red stripe.
