I'm looking for advice please. I recently purchased a dvd of Photoshop CS5 Teacher & Student version, believing I could upload it to my PC but not update it as I didn't have the register number that is required. I discovered I required that "number" before I can even upload it. Help !

where did you purchase it from? can you check with them? I suspect you have a counterfeit copy, which will get no support from adobe.

I got ripped off some years ago on an e-bay purchase. E-bay are wonderful, on the surface, until you require they're urgent assistance with fraudalance. They even refused to assist the police with the case.

Adobe will offer no help at all - if you Google you may be able to pick up a code cracker - don't know the exact procedure but my Grandsons do it all the time. I am old fashioned I do everything legal LOL!!!
