From Our Pond...
Every year we buy 3-5 tadpoles in hopes of watching them grow... which we never do and don't see them again until one magically appears in the bio falls of the pond!!
This guy was huge, so he must have been one of our originals and very old!!! Strange markings on him as well!!
I was just recently told by a man that raises koi that said if you see dragon flies over your pond, you water is perfect and is seems ours is... finally seeing dragons in the garden and hovering over the water!
We were doing a water change and my eye was drawn to the rock not fully underwater in the last shot!!
Not the best shots, a lot of grain.... taken with the sx50.
Thanks, Carlo, for your visit and thumbs up!

Great shots, Angela. That big frog is a testament to your care for the pond. He's made a happy home for himself.

Thanks Tom.... I have a feeling he might be the reason two small koi strangely disappeared!! lol...
No fear of him swallowing any more, since the rest are big!

You need to find him a mate.
Maybe?
Yikes! He’s a big boy. Don’t get to close!
Nice set, every shot is very nice.

Thanks, Bruce, glad you liked... he was huge and never saw a frog with those strange markings!!! I couldn't get close, he was sitting on the waterfall area that my husband had turned off since we were doing a water change!! Then he jumped back in the water!!
Love your “big boy”. Frogs are really cool characters!

LOL... I'm sure there are more hiding in there since we've been buying tadpoles for years!! He might be the king of the frogs!!
