If you think you need a gun to buy it??????

Maybe it’s not worth it.

Or do you think this is the one that got stolen from you....

Logic dictates there is something not right about this upcoming transaction! Ignore it or meet at a police station. If there is a camera be sure you test it right then and there.

I try very hard to understand why the majority of the members only read the original post and why they put in their 2 cents worth even though the thread is several pages long, by which time there is more info provided by the OP and the issue is usually solved like in this case. There was no reply from the CL seller.

But to see so many men believe that this ad is a genuine one is mind boggling.

That is a stolen picture, that is used to try to find a greedy idiot to rip off.

I would need to ask if these items are "Gray Market"? The price is too good to be true.

For heaven sake’s people don’t be so critical. It’s not that hard to figure out it was just a general comment and if I put it in the wrong place, obviously shame on me

You never mentioned the location. Do you think the price is too low and that makes you cautious? If you think the seller is selling hot merchandise then ask the local police to go with you. The local police may have an issue with the seller already if the seller sells hot merchandise. Remember the person who carries a gun is not to be your first choice of partners as the only reason for that person to use what they carry is because their life is threatened not your life. Depends on the state you live in as to weather or not you are supposed to run away or stand and shoot back. Concealed carry is only allowed in some states and the states that have concealed carry issue permits. You can check out the person by name on many internet sites that do background checks as well as like I mentioned earlier check in with the local police to see if there is a possibility that the seller is a known seller of stolen property. In Hamilton county Ohio where I am the sheriff station will actually let you meet a seller in their parking lot if you feel that uncomfortable about the meet up. Sorry but it sounds like you are meeting in the south side of Chicago with some gang member since you mentioned needing protection. I have met a few people off the internet in my home to sell guitars I had for sale to. Then again I am an old Marine veteran.

I wouldn't bother. Camera either hot or you'll lose your wallet. I've seen a couple of other ads done the exact same way & I figure buyer BEWARE.

Same type of scam was happening to me, only with a 2017 Class C RV that was priced at $4K. Said they would ship it down from Nebraska to Texas with a $1K deposit. LoL

I think there may be a problem. It's possibly a kid who try to sell his mom or dad camera. It won't be in the stolen good database yet until his mom or dad finds out.
