My spell checker works in UHH and I use it all the time. And it's lens not lense, and "I need advice" not advise.

The use of the wrong word will nit (sic) get caught by the spell checker.

I have to laugh. When spell checkers first came out, people were adding misspelled words to their local/personal dictionaries.
That doesn't help.....

When you removing the dirt. Between point a an b. It is an imaginary line between the two as to when you know to quit. You just have to picture it in your head as to what it suppose look like when your done. What machines has he been on.

My oldest son can not spell worth a dam, I know this because I have seen his job applications and resumes. However He is great at math and he dislikes reading. With this said he is now part owner of a logistics company with another marine that he worked with at another logistics company. They both decided that it was better to take most of the payment for the loads than to only get a percentage of it.

My daughter in law is another one that can't spell and she is worse than my oldest son. They both graduated from high school. It is very difficult at times to decipher her text messages. About the only one that can is my youngest son and even he has trouble sometimes. He is one of those that has a lot of useless knowledge. I have three boys by the way. My daughter in law is married to my middle son who is a truck driver in OK. He gave up being a manager at Carl's Jr to drive a truck in OK., and I paid for his truck driving school.

It's true that when we read a piece of text we are so familiar with the words that we can understand what's written if the first and last letters are correct. However, that definitely does not mean that correct spelling doesn't matter. I'm a writer and sloppy spelling drives me nuts!

And that makes it difficult to proofread what we have written.

Cambridge University Says Spelling Does Not Matter?

Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteres are at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a tatol mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe.

As far as I'M concerned Yes to me it matters. I would normally not even try to read anything with spelling this bad.
If someone can't take the "trouble" to spell correctly Why should I take the trouble to read or try to understand what they are trying to say?

It matters in law and in science. It doesn't matter in religion. 😜😜

Dam is spelled damn, by the way. Your punctuation could use a number of corrections too. Not that I could do much better. I just thought this to be ironic. No offense meant.

Poor spelling and grammar drive me nuts. When I began teaching in college 10 years ago I was appalled by the skill levels of many of my students. My classes were a mix of traditional college freshmen and older students who were returning to college after abscences of several years. The “adults’” skills were far better than the “kids’”.
I always told my students that “spelling and grammar count” in their written assignment grades. Many of them were upset with this policy because it wasn’t an English Class.
