I’ve seen a Cuda go for over $100k at auction in Scottsdale, AZ.
Bought mine for $2k sold for the same in 1976. Damn...

I peeked in through the scoop and did see the 2-4 barrels on the ram log manifold. It may be a copy, but it sure did bring back some great memories

Great car. Sox & Martin were definitely a top notch team on the drag circuit in the mid-60's and early 70's. Ronnie Sox was listed as Number 15 on NHRA's Top 50 Drivers list, and Sox and Martin were inducted into Motor Sports Hall of Fame in 2007.

In the 50's and 60's, my hometown, Pontiac, MI, was full of muscle cars. Hearing a car peal out at a stop light was nothing unusual. Of course, Pontiac was the home of the GTO, but GTO's weren't the only modified cars to be seen and heard.

Wow brings back memories !!
I had a 1968 fast back Barracuda. Aqua marine with black leather interior. It had chrome fake headers on the hood. It only had a slant six but I still drove it too fast. It had lots of chrome, Bucket seats and the back folded down. Heck, there was a door that opened to the trunk!
I drove that car cross country, slept in it and even carried lumber.
It was a thing of beauty. I loved that car.
