I would imagine he/she would be one totally screwed up person with all those crazy mixed up theories floating around in the head.

If we took everyone on the Hog and combined that knowledge in ONE photographer...., how good would that photographer be???
What camera would they use?
Would they be as good as Adams, better or worse?!
That would be a huge amount of knowledge.
Or would their head just explode??? LoL
What do you think???
Let’s dissect such a photographer!!!
I mean just for fun, I don’t think this is really possible, is it?! LoL

Any computer chip found in any of today's Professional grade DSLR's are smarter and better than any combined photographers would ever be.

So if this discussion is to revolve around the gear and not the guy (or gal), then what camera did Ansel Adams shoot with? Nobody ever mentions that because it is the "photographer", not the gear that makes the image.

I vote for the head exploding, especially for the conflicting opinions and snarky remarks.

As I drive in new areas, I keep my eyes open for "The First Church of Ansel Adams."

It is so complicated! After the #1 purchased his body, glass, lighting and tripod, if he/she had the combined photography bugs we all have the #1 would go crazy trying to figure out whether to go out and shoot landscape, street or just some little bug on a flower. Just tooooo many things to deal with!

But we would finally get an answer to that question: Canon or Nikon.

I kind of think with all the huge variance it could be subtractive with so many elements (people's personalities, tastes, styles, opinions, quirks, etc.), that the resultant amalgam might be in an asylum for schizophrenia or pulling in too many directions at once to actually trip a shutter. To say nothing of the impossibility choosing equipment. Yes, there would be a huge amount of knowledge and hopefully talent. But if all the pieces are like a sports team, say a baseball team or basketball team, could all the photographers' bits mesh to work as one for one purpose. And think and act like a single being. Thinking '80s Lakers or Celtics.

Nothing would ever be shot. The person would be in a mental institution, suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder.

I've been doing large-format photography with a 4X5 / 5X7 view camera for over 40 years. That may modify the results a little. ;-)

He/She would never at Peace.....with anything.

And more than likely would never make any photos. Spending most of there time in Art museums and watching sunsets

too much knowledge and thought can be a very bad thing

Not necessarily. Many of us, me included, already shoot all of those subjects. Throw in moon shots, trains and birds as well as simple family snapshots for record. Easy to do, simply photograph what is available at the moment.
