“attempt to trap [the president] in perjury.” You know, you have to LIE to commit perjury. WHY is Trump's legal team so worried about him committing perjury? You don't TRAP someone in perjury. If they tell the TRUTH there is NO PERJURY. If you've done NOTHING WRONG, you have no worries about committing perjury when you talk about what you've done.

Of course you can "trap" someone in prudery if the "Interviewer" is highly skilled and IF the one being interviewed states an error or mistake, they can consider it a lie even if that was not the intention of the one being interviewed. Bill Clinton agreed to be "interrogated" or interviewed yet was caught in perjury wasn't he?
