After a lot of trying I've finally managed to get my first reasonable "Bird in Flight" shot.
It was taken at RSPB reserve Bempton Cliffs, East Yorkshire, UK.
Camera: Nikon P900.
ISO: 400
Aperture: f/8
Shutter speed: 1/3200 sec.
35mm focal length: 380mm.
Cropped and exposure slightly modified in Photoshop Elements 11.
Beautiful bird. Can you maybe lighten the background a bit so the black wing tips show?
NMGAL, I'll try. I've never done it before.
Have to learn how to do it first.
Very nice work! Next time post the download too.
Great work Bob. Thanks also for noting your settings.
Don
Thanks for all your comments.
I'm still trying to figure out how to lighten the background in Photoshop Elements 11.
I'll keep trying and re post if I'm successful

I tried to do it but I'm no expert so I hope this will do!
