Growing up in AZ 100 degrees is not bad at all there. Once you get past 110 though then you feel it but 100 wasn't any big deal.

Our news posted tonight (6/26) that it was 38 years ago that we had two straight days of record 113 degree days in 1980, on the 26th and 27th. As I said previously, I remember it well and was working outside in it. We're not as dry as Arizona. I do remember a Labor Day golf tournament another year when temps were 111-112. I think I won my flight just be finishing.

I was a mailman for 30 years in the Dallas area where it gets nice and hot and muggy. Every blessed summer i’d say that’s it. I said that for 30 years.

Yeah, like that.
If you use a Mac they probably have something like the Character Map.
BTW, you have to use the keypad for the 0176, not the QWERTY keyboard.

Back in the middle 1980's SoCal had four days in a row that 100 and much of the new leaves burned
brown.
