you'll have to look pretty hard to see Saturn, but its there . the other day it was in fairly close proximity to the moon so I shot one exposure for the moon and another exposed for Saturn combined the exposures so that the relative positioning remains correct .
800mm (400mm + 2X) with canon 5d mk4

Nice job of exposure of both objects.
I can see the gaps on your Saturn shot when I go in tight.
Glad someone is getting up time.

Cool, how long did you have to expose to get Saturn?

Thanks Europa, 800mm 1/30 sec at f11 iso 800, I really need to get back out with a telescope , it's been too long

Sounds like a Hormel chile commercial.
Pardner that’s too long.

That's so cool Steve. And you used a camera Lens and Doubler.

thank you Craig! I appreciate your comment, that 400mm prime is a very crisp lens and doesn't seem to degrade much with the doubler

Very nice. It's amazing how small Saturn appears unless you have some serious focal length.

Yes Craig, its a Canon 400mm 5.6 L , I think its kinda older model as I bought it several years ago from a guy that had it for several years, it is one of my favorites.
