Atmospheric Dispersion Corrector. It's useful for imaging the planets with a color camera especially when they're below 40degrees above the horizon. They help prevent wavelength scattering and allow images with demonstrably better detail. In the comparisons I've seen, they make a big difference. I have one on order to use with my ASI224MC but it's currently on backorder so I'm waiting on it.

Pricie little gizmo.
No I don’t have one of these.
I’ll do a bit of research on it however.
Thanks.

Celstron 236C CMOS Camera at 1024 X 768. 90 FPS for 2 minutes

20% of 10800 frames stacked in Autostakkert2
Wavelets modified in Registax6
Final color tweaks in Photoshop CC
Seeing was pretty decent and I finally have a round top planet.

Nice image. Did you use a PowerMate / Barlow with the C8?

I also notice the 3522x2347 size of the image. How did you get to this size from 1024x768?

In Photoshop I go into image size and change the resolution from 72 DPI to either 256 or even 350 DPI.
It works very well and lets me see how gaussian blur I may or may not need.
No Barlow, just the camera direct to the visual back.
