Amazing that the party of idle rich, that has not produced any real jobs, smears someone who made his money through hard work and risk.

Kennedy bootlegging insider trading, Johnson government connections, Kerry
married fortunes twice that were inherited, pelosi who has a worth of at least a billion and hires non-union field workers. The only rich dem that earned it honestly was Carter. What a load of hipocritecs.

But what did his trusts pay in taxes? Did Romney draw on his trusts or live on non-taxable money? Hey, you can't blame a guy for taking advantage of every tax law he can.

If he took income from the trusts, was that income even taxable?

Taxes were already paid on that money

Another Harry Reid lie! How the hell would Harry Reid know anything about this. Income tax returns are confidential; if the IRS put out any informatiion about anybody's tax return (even yours), it would be a violation of federal law, and the person or persons who did the deed would be subject to prosecution.

This is nothing more than the soreheads like Harry Reid who have, nothing to offer positive about their own candidate trying to divert the campaign from their own total failures.

It takes some dumb and stupid people to fall for somethhing like this. Get it touch with me; I have some swampland in Chicago to sell. It will make you rich like Obama and the rest of his buddies.

But tying one's dog to the top of the car in the US, well that is different!

Yeah, but the president brags about it as if it is some rite of passage into manhood, he draws his own comparison to his background and culture being foreign, personally I don't care that the president ate dog anymore than I care that Mitt Romney drew a salary from Bain, that is pretty much standard ops for a business owner... I do care that the president spent 100's of millions if not billions of stimulus money overseas.. which is a hell of a lot more than Romney spent overseas....

The president was not joking when he wrote in his book that he had eaten dog, it was something that he wanted to share with the world and he made no apology for it... Now, is it something that I am concerned with?, not so much, but it is a part of his conceit and his self perception of being a better human being than the rest of us.

Simple solution - let the people casting aspersions publish their returns for the past 10 years, let Obama publish his returns for the past 10 years (and show an original birth certificate and explain why his campaign literature from chicago says he was born in kenya).

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I wanna see them all! If I can't see them all I won't consider any of them.

On Okinawa there was a dog named barkden because he never barked he just walked up and bit the hell of the guy who wasn't supposed to be where he was. A great dog. He would travel in the back of a pick up with a big sign guard dog. Some guy who was 25 sheets to the wind wondered up to Barkden and the dog gave him a big lick. His handler gave Barkden a treat.

I always slept better when on a fire base that had a dog or two.

Interesting, so did I. Kind of got off the subect matter here didn't we.

The dogs were trained to not bark while on duty. Kind of gives away your position.

Its funny how some dogs can sense that someone means no harm. Just before I left for Vietnam my parents flew to my base and I took 'em to the kennels. Step mother scratched every dog but mine on their muzzel through the kennel door. Dutch sensed that she was worthless and gave her a low growel when she approached his kennel.

They were trained to be rewarded with praise both verbal and physical but that evening I gave him extra food that evening for chow.

Beautiful dog where were you?

Thanks Sarg for the kind comment. Dutch was a great looking dog. Picture taken in 1965 - Da Nang Vietnam, in our kennel area. In 1965 they have yet to secure the area with fencing. That being said there were about 3 thousand Marines in Tent City about 50 yards from our kennels. So we felt secure.

Dog's name was Dutch, serial number E955. Even dogs had serial numbers but theirs were tattooed in their ear. Thank goodness they issued us dog tags!

That's what many people don't realize. When money is inherited, that money is taxed. Afterwards, the principle can be drawn upon without being taxable. If the funds are in a trust, the capital gains are taxable. It's more complicated than I can spell out, but there are many reasons that Romney may not personally pay taxes because the money has already been taxed.

Romney worked his way up by scrubbing floors, taking out the trash, opening a little store front investment house and achieving the American Dream.

Not the story I have heard. Anyone else hear that story?

Doug that's right. Of course if you put it into an IRA it can grow again tax free. But you can only put 8K per year in the 401K. How is Mitt's 401K worth what some $30 Million. Now how do you suppose he did that?

Doug, what is he hiding? You know there will be no campaign on his behalf until he shows his returns. The only question will be what are you hiding? Until he answers that question I don't think many independents are going to vote for Mitt the Twit!

Until the economy turns around they are unlikely to vote for Hussy either... especially if it takes the downturn that may be just around the corner... Prez sez that the Clinton plan was his plan all along... hmmmm seems to me that the prez came into office touting... A Green Agenda which has failed for America, Cap and Trade which luckily was defeated as it would have only served to make things much worse, and his healthcare bill that has slowed recovery and continues to cost Americans the opportunity to return back to work... Now he says give me 4 more so I can finish my plan.... No Thanks Mr. President!

Like we said before. There are two ways to vote. Obama or Romney.

Stateism or free enterprise

If you like the way government is now and " redistribution " of wealth vote for it.

You think you are entitled to all that " Obama " money, but think where it comes from. If you aren't targeted to have the gov. take it from you now, just wait, you'll be next. " First they came for the capitalist. Etc. etc. etc
