I am looking to get some prints done on metal. I have done a search here on the site and most posts on the topic are over a year old.
Has anyone got some current reviews, either good or bad about printers? I'm in Hawaii and there are no printers here, so a printer preferably on the West Coast would keep my shipping costs down.

Bay photo does great work. My wife had some done through Walmart and I was happy with result.

Both my cousin and I have used Bay Photos. The quality is very good as is the service. I dislike the metal prints because I get so much reflection from them, it's sometime difficult to see the actual photo.

I was shocked at the wonderful quality of my first metal print from Sam's Club.

Does Walmart use Bay for everything, or just the specialty stuff?

Iโ€™ve used Bay and also Miller, but found that LaserLight Prints (in CA) produces much better output. Bin comparison, the othersโ€™ stuff looks cheap.

I used Bay for one of my images and my wife used Walmart. Not sure who they use but whoever it is they did a nice job . Sorry to confuse you with my last post. After rereading it I can see how it could be confusing. Hey it was early morning LOL. And I'm not as young as I used to be๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Check with your local Costco. I have been told that they are now doing metal prints, however I have not yet tried them myself

I,too, like Laser Light. They are in central California, Aptos. The glossy prints are very reflective. I the mat finish works much better if there is a lot of light. I took samples of both finishes to my local camera club. Vast majority of members preferred the mat (non glare) finish. I really like the metal prints, just be careful which finish you select.

I shall look into the mat (non-glare) finish the next time I order. Thanks for the post.
