Amfoto1,
Thank you very much for looking up the adapter. That was extremely nice of you.
Could you please confirm that you independently recognized the mount as a Petri bayonet mount. Another UH‘er thought it might be, but wasn’t sure.
Thanks again.

I wanted to tell all the people that were so helpful to me about the happy ending of my quest for the proper adapter for the Super Lentar lens.
It appears that the amount was a petri bayonet mount.
I went to the Chicago loop and stopped in to Central Camera-one of the last old fashioned “do everything“ Camera stores in Chicago and showed them the lens
An older gentleman told me that there was a screw - on mount that would come off. His assistant unscrewed it and revealed a T mount. Luckily I had in my possession a T2 to NEX mount I purchased from K & F Concepts and was frustratingly trying to return.
I was also waiting to hear back from an eBay seller of the petri bayonet mount who was difficult to get to respond to my emails.
The long and the short of it was that I don’t have to return my T2 adapter and I no longer have to deal with the eBay seller to buy the Petri bayonet mount and all ended well.
The part that unscrewed from the lens only had the markings “TA9” and “Japan
Thanks very much for everyone’s help. Dadorphan
