I am not a "Birder" however I think it is a Potoo

I am pretty sure you are correct. They make an eerie call at night-time. The toucan's bill is hollow and actually very lightweight.

I pointed it out to several other people who couldn't see it without looking through my camera...I'm pretty pleased with myself for spotting it, not being a bird watcher and it being the first time I had ever seen one
The experts tell me it could have been sitting on an egg too!

Great set, beautiful birds....presuming the #3 photo is a whippoorwill, great shot and the camouflage is incredible
