Veteran's Day is November 11, it is a day to honor and thank our veterans. Memorial Day is a day to reflect on those who served and gave all to our just cause of FREEDOM. They are the ones that never made it back; the ones who stand guard in the great forever.

I understand everyone that wants to thank our veterans, and as a veteran I appreciate it but this is a solemn day to remember the fallen and give thanks for their sacrifice. To those who did not come home, I give my honest and heartfelt thanks. These are the people who pledged "their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor" and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Veteran's Day is November 11, it is a day to honor... (show quote)

I give a big 'AMEN' and 'THANK YOU' for your posting.
I will gladly wait for Nov for our recognition.

Sorry, Didn't mean to offend... I consider my father in law, Roy Dupries, who died in the tail-end of a B-17 over Germany a Veteran as well as a war hero to be honored on both days.

A Korea navy vet. When you are in you want out. But when your out you wouldn't trade the time you served for anything.
