He's off to a good start. My favorites are 1 and 3. A bit more contrast in 2 and 3, especially 3, would really help bring the fence out as the subject. --Bob

That's about the same age that I started in photography. He has a good eye. I believe he will do well if he sticks with it. I would encourage you to engage him in a conversation of what he likes/would change in his photos. The feeling/Intent must come from him.

Thank you very much. We do talk about what likes and would change in his photos. He is in 4-H and has also learned a lot that way also.
