I live in the NorthWest suburbs of Houston. We had 8 inches of rain on Sunday. You guys are welcome to come have some, but regrettably we are not able to provide transportation, you will have to take care of that for yourselves.

I live only about an hour from Houston (northeast of Huntsville). Saturday AND Sunday we only got 1 inch of rain all together. Lots of thunder boomers but we haven't been getting much rain for a long time. I was hoping we'd get at least 3 inches. For some reason, the rain always tends to break up on the outskirts of Trinity and resumes on the other side of Huntsville. But Texas is like that.

We live between Magnolia and Tomball, not that far from you. I am surprised you did not get more. There was an intense storm band that passed directly over us. Yes, the weather in Texas is like that.

Here in central Arizona (NOT Phoenix area) we have been in drought condition for many years. Little to no snow in the winter and little to no rain during our summer “monsoon” season.

Is that when you have the redistribution of sand?
