I chimp every shot to see if I've got what I wanted! As soon as possible I download to my computer and start editing. I make every effort to get it right in camera so that there is very little editing to do.

A. About 40% of the images I take I chimp. Why waste hours in post when something can be corrected in minutes.

A .... in the age of film I took multiple shots to make sure my {Kodachrome} exposure was correct - now I take many fewer because just a glance will answer the question.

A. I like to know what the camera sees! Sometimes I'll download an interesting shot.

I hate B when I forget to A! I get home and find I over exposed my shots!

A. Especially with macro since focus is so sensitive.

Johnny and I review the days shots just after the evening news. Sort of a time of reflection,

A. I almost never chimp, but I review on the computer ‘soonly’.
I hike in Florida, often with groups. I take many photos ‘on the fly’, using Aperature priority, automatic ISO, and limit lowest shutter speed, so I don’t slow the group down. I usually review my photos when I get home, or the following day so that I can post them (my selection) on the group’s Meetup Page for the event

This is rather difficult to make a choice.

I don't chimp. I do process images as soon as possible. Both choices contain two issues that are mutually exclusive. Chimping is one issue. Processing(reviewing) images after a shoot is the other.

I don't chimp, but do process as soon as possible. This includes film, as well.

A

But not 100% of the time.
That way I can see if I want to change something or try something different.
