I am new here. Hello! I am also new to using a MAC laptop. Definitely different then windows! So I used to have adobe photo shop where I could crop and make pictures lighter or darker or adjust the color, etc.
Now that I have a MAC I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on some apps that are just as good as adobe?

I use Luminar. Originally designed for the Mac world and works great on my MacBook Pro.

Why not use Photoshop or Lightroom? I use photoshop to do just what you are doing. And shoot a lot of videos
pull screen grabs and tweak in PS.

I use Lightroom, Photoshop, Luminar, Aurora, and a variety of other tools. Things aren't much different on Macs vs. PCs these days, you know. Back in the 90's, that was another story.

Incidentally, just so you don't shout "newbie" to the world, don't write Mac in ALL CAPS. It's Mac. For Macintosh.
