She was deep in the woods, very dark area. I kicked the iso up to 2000, and had the shutter wide open. It is not as sharp as I would like probably due to movement. There was not time to get the tripod out.
Having said that, I really like the picture as she seems to be looking almost directly at me. Taken last week at Yosemite.

From the looks of her, she has some cubs around somewhere. Hope you were shooting from a safe distance. Nice shot!

definitely not at risk. I used a 500 mm lens and cropped quite a bit.

Great capture! I would have had movement in my shot - to the rear at a high speed!
