Glenwood, Ark is a Lumber town or started out that way anyhow..We still have a Mill, But it's not like it was when we first arrived here back in 1997, Now the Mill is used for just treatment, and not the whole process as it used to be...We have quite a bit of traffic through here during the spring and Summer for the River floats on the Caddo River, and Camping at the near by lakes, Greeson, Quachita, and Hamilton as well as lake Catherine, and Lake Degray, all within an hours drive..Lake Greeson being the closest at 15-20 min. from Glenwood..We have an Annual Caddo River Festival to promote Tourism on the River which includes Canoe Races among other events..

Love the boy standing against the rock. "I am not participating!" I had a couple of siblings just like this.

Really nice group,Leslie...Beautiful area, for sure!
On a trip through the Northwest, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and into Montana's Glacier National Park; I can remember stopping in at my cousins working Ranch when I was 11 years old for a visit. I learned how to drive a manual transmission on the Ranch that summer driving hay out to the cattle. I love the Northwest! It was so beautiful there - Big Sky Country for sure. Sadly, I have not returned to Montana since. Closest I've been, not too far, is Idaho where I shot a wedding way back in the Sawtooth Mountains for a dear friend of mine. Best destination photography shoot I've ever been on...actually the only one.

Beach, wildlife and sunsets. Add to that fantastic winter weather, no snow and little cold. Lower Alabama!
