I processed another set of data this evening and tried some new settings.
This set of data was a 2 minute video at 65 frames per second.
I stacked 45% of the captured frames for this shot with AutoStakkert!3.
I processed the TIFF file generated with Registax6 to adjust the wavelets boasting the center 2 channels to max and the next channels were brought up to 80% and 60%. Somewhat backwards from the usual suggested pattern.
I then finished by opening the processed shot in Photoshop and resized it by 2" and increasing the resolution to 156 dpi.
I cropped some of the extra sky for size and I hope it posts well here.

Thank you very much.
For a change I was able to see and focus on the banding.
I usually have to twiddle and tweek to get banding to show.
Last night was cloudy and looks like tonight might be as well.
I really want to get some data with Jupiter higher in the sky.

Thanks Brian.
I hope you are starting to get clear skies. In your dark zone this would really pop. It’s tough in a bortle 8.

Clear skies are one thing. Stable skies are quite another... And on the eastern slopes of the Rockies stable skies are few and far between!!

Just the Celestron 236C.
I need really clear skies and I plan to throw the 11” SCT on and see what I can pull.
The CGEM Mount is tracking really well for me.

One day of clear and now two days of clouds.
I’m hoping to play again tomorrow.

Beautiful Jim!
Great resolution.

Last night was my first in a while. Could not get anything I liked.
Tonight looked good, so I got all set and ready. Picked Hercules to warm up with.
Got 10 - 15s, made a folder and saved the result. PHD started talking to me.
When I got back to PHD, I looked up and a cloud was there.

It asked we where Albuquerque was, I pointed South/East and it moved on.
I sent it your way...

You missed. I am about to post a shot that makes this one look feeble.
25% of 9000 frames and a transit of Io and shadow to boot.
Nanners...

No, actually I didn't miss. I did actually get on Jupiter last night.
But it was this glowing orb with 3 of four moons visible.
So I didn't miss, I just have doo-doo equipment for that task.
But that's why I follow you around like a puppy dog. You do those the justice they deserve.

I got clouded out at 11:45 PM. 3 frames in on the Eagle Nebula.
Can't seem to win here lately.
