These are warblers in Ohio on a pause before their migration path across Lake Erie. D500 with 200-500mm. Thanks to Steve Perry for the auto focus tips from his book which aided in getting true sharpness.
This is an excellent looking set well done....Rich

GREAT shots! Nice that you gave Steve a plug too!
Excellent. Steve's books helped me, too.
Great images and crystal clear focus!
Only one word...FANTASTIC!
Thanks everyone for the comments. I had a lucky day. I've never seen one before in the 10-12 years I've been shooting them but that day there was what they call a bird "fall out". The winds were so strong at 40-50mph that the birds couldn't fly across Lake Erie and the tops of the trees were blowing so much that they descended near ground level and just hung around the branches there. Some people were shooting with their cell phone cameras the birds were everywhere and that close.

All are excellent!
Wow, those are incredibly sharp but maybe is my new vision since I can see clearly now that my cataract has been fixed. Great job.
