My wife and I have been wintering in AZ since 1979 from Alberta. On our first trip through we noticed this beautiful old building and watched it deteriorate over the years. As this was probably our last driving trip and the sun was shining witch is a rare sight as its usually cloudy cold and snowing when we go by. I decided to photograph it and post it and see if anyone has any knowledge of it.
It is located on the Montana - Idaho boarder near the the Monida Pass.
Its so sad and am wondering if anyone knows or has any history of this building?

Consider contacting the Chamber of Commerce.
I have driven by this many times as well. Don't know it's history however. Sure looks like a old school building to me.
We think that as well , thank you
Thanks to all for your remarks, Peter
