Hey, I have an A6000 and a 10-18mm zoom. Love how the pair operates together. Go to your settings to cut down on possible
"barrel distortion" if use in 10mm mode. I usually shoot in 12-14mm. The lens will cost more than the camera but is a good comdo
when using a good tripod while shooting. I also have a 18-200 zoom but do not use it as much, but that will change in the future.

I have the same 3 lenses but on a A6300. I have found that the kit 16-50 is fine for most of my shots, sometimes using the 10-18 and to. a lesser extent, the 18-200.

You guys are funny. This site started out with a question about Sony a6000 for $699.00 and like the old kids birthday party game "Telegraph" now we are talking about $5000.00 Lecias.
Comments well taken even those that are a little. off track.

Well you have to admit its more exciting than looking at yet another bird or flower image in the Photo section...

If the a6000 I saw is still on sale when I scrape up the extra couple of hundred I will go with that. It seems like a good "extra" fallback to have in the bag, thanks for the info.

I have had the A6000 for some time now. Love that camera. A great carry around camera. If your looking for some great tutorials on it check out the video class by John Greengo at Creative Live. He does an outstanding job.

I tried one when it was on sale, I love it. I basically use a Nikon system but this camera is the right size for travel, and you don't lose any quality.
Look on youtube to see Garry Fong's videos of how to use it and set it up. Look at eBay to get a small inexpensive flash to add to your kit.
Of course, it is a few years behind the other guys, but that doesn't bother me at all, it still does everything that I need it to.
