Got up early this morning, very excited I might add, to take some photos of the first flowers I've seen. I hope you enjoy, I have no idea as to what they are, but I like them.

Yeah!! You finally caught up with me, Joe!! These are beautiful shots and I enjoyed them all!! I'm thinking all but the last are from flowering cherry trees. My pink is just starting to pop and the white blew away!!
I think spring is here to stay!!

Thank you very much Angela, it's has been a long winter for sure. I saw these yesterday and decided to get up early to try and get a shot during the "golden hour", which I was able to. I shot some on a tripod and some hand held, they look a little soft to me. To be honest I was having a little trouble seeing, not awake yet. Thanks again for taking a look and the kind words.

You know me, Joe... I love the soft and dreamy looks of these!! What time did you get up to go shooting... I was up at 4:30 because Tues & Thurs I watch my two grandsons.... it's still dark at that time and then I leave my house at 6:30 to be there at 7:30 and no time to shoot on these days, but thankfully it's still light when I get home at 5:30, so I always walk around my yard with my dog and click!!

I was up at about 4:45, started shooting around 6:15. It was and is cloudy here today so the sun struggled to break through. Honestly my biggest problem was seeing the screen on my camera as I was focusing using live view and my eyes were not doing so well. I use manual focus as I am shooting with my 105mm at 1:1 reproduction.

Joe.... you need to talk to Rich (Bigwolf) he told me of this viewer that you hook on to the back of your camera to help you focus.. I did buy one and it's amazing how it helps you see.... and it blocks out all glare! I haven't used it much yet, but I plan on it. Got it on Amazon, for about $30

Thank you very much Donna I really appreciate your kind words. It was a little challenging this morning, photos before coffee, but decided to get out before sunrise.

Thank you Angela. I am going to check it out right now. My Nikon has a 3.2" screen, but maybe the company makes a larger version.

Thank you again.
