Went to take a few shots of the new nest today... Old one from last year has been abandon... (one successful birth last year from that nest)
Well i saw two eagles at the nest one down in and the other a few branches up as you will see in the pictures... Windy as all H--L today
When I got home and downloaded the shots just thumbing thru them I noticed something... It is a new baby... Not sure if there are more but didn't even see it while i was shooting...
Wondering if these are the same two parents? This has been a rare happening here as I have lived here 48 years and this is only the second time seeing eagles here... This nest is
further away that last years nest... and it is in a swampy area... Hoping to find a way to get a bit closer
Great! There is a way to get pretty close when it's not too wet. Those adults or at least one of them look like those from last year to me.
They do look familiar... Wonder what happened to their baby from last year... Thanks for the info

Good question. ..
any way you look at it I am sure we will both have fun taking pictures of the new offspring and of course the parents
Great shots. It's so cool to Eagle watch.

It is so great to see eagles in that location... I am glad you can enjoy from work... That has to make it that much more fun to go to work if you can understand that twisted logic... lol
