When you don’t have your regular gear handy it is quite amazing what can be done with an iPhone + a bit of post processing, in this case ON1. These were taken from a Southwest flight window seat taking off from San Diego and a few days later on approach to LAX. Pictured are Coronado Island, Point Loma, and the new NFL stadium under construction in Inglewood.

Amazing shots from a freaking cell phone. I'll bet Nikon and Canon wouldn't be too thrilled with these.

My daughter said IPhone X has and unbelievable camera, mine is an 8 version. I’ll still always use my Nikon as the “go to”, but phone can work in a pinch.

Many pros are using cell cameras. Seems to go with the heavy stuff. Perhaps like the polaroid test we used in the film days.
