I have bought a couple bodies and several lenses from my local Hunts (Melrose, MA, near Boston). They give good service and they are helpful.
I've bought a number of lenses from them, and I've always been completely satisfied with their service, knowledge, and advice. They remind me of a local shop on an "800" line.
Another big thumbs up for Gary and Alan from Hunts. I met Alan once and have dealt with him on the phone several times. I have met Gary a number of times at various conferences, expos and workshops. Fabulous service and good prices when they can and throw in bonuses.
Might want to be careful here. Intrigued by the comments, I went "hunting" for their website and first clicked (by mistake) on an add that starts out with "HUNT Camera Low Price..." and I was whisked away to a BHP website. They are squatting on Hunt's name. I assume they can do it because the word "hunt" is generic, although it is marked as an ad and I try to stay on the lookout to avoid advertising. The main Hunt web page was the next item.
Just a thought.

Anyone ever had dealings with these folks? I met them at a Florida Birding Fest and see they have some items about 10% less than B&H. Thanks for your help.
Hunt's Photo is having their annual 'Imaging Expo and Sale'. They are offering an 'any electronic device trade-in' on cameras. Get $200 off any camera over $2000 with any electronic trade in - even a 15 year old flip phone.
