I love all the professional portraits (use to do that for a while), but there's something special about "candid" shots that show emotion. Surprise, love, exasperation, laughter, slightly annoyed, bored, sleepy, even fear can create memories we'll all look back on and cherish.
And they could also include animals as well as people. Animals, as we all know, can be very good at showing emotions or expressions.
Show us the expressions you've seen, created or captured over the years.
"Who, me?"
"Seriously? Another picture, Uncle Tim?"
"I'm having so much fun!"
"How do I get down?"
Laughter...Happiness

Thank you, Pat. I'm really looking forward to your posts...notice I said "posts," as in "plural."
I don't take many pictures of people, but alot of my animal subjects show expressions.
I don't do people photography but this guy definitely has an expression.
Perhaps a smile?

Thanks for posting, Kat! If it were me, I'd preferring going
a few rounds with the angry robin instead of the playful polar bear.
Great images!
