Well,,. N A S A has posted the best and clearest look at Mother Earth as shot from an orbiting Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter ...which has been mapping the moon for the last 9 years ..taking 4K images .., well as the orbiter came around from the back side of the moon .., looking across the barren lifeless moons surface .. it snapped a series of Clear Earth photos ...., I have posted one of them here ...Enjoy ..

I'm glad you posted this Dr. Nikon, or I wouldn't have had the opportunity to see it. It's not important to me that you aren't in outer space photographing this beautiful planet that we live on. It makes me sad that the inhabitants of earth are so dysfunctional and not careful with each other and this fragile, life-giving planet that we call home.

Sure you have the opportunity. Go to www.NASA.gov to see this shot from two years ago and many more.

Our beautiful home, we have a poster of "Earthrise" that I bought at NASA Lewis Center and framed.

Jean and I are presently in London and, coincidentally, I was reflecting on the dichotomy (is that the right word?) between our blue planet and us!! Your words are exactly what I was thinking!

I had 2 companies in Taiwan 1986-1991 .. my World Trade Center office I designed had the Earth Rise Shot that was a multi piece wallpaper that I bought in USA and brought to Taiwan to have installed on my entire wall of my conference area ....I have a pic of it in a shoebox of photos .., I have to dig it out ..I found it ..
