Do what the Blue Angels do. Shoot FAST with a high shutter speed and practice, practice, practice. Birds don't fly as fast, but they are small and elusive and give you experience with tracking flying subjects. Good Luck and ENJOY!
Hope they Don't shoot back. I used to shoot trap,so I have hi hopes.
There is a remote possibility we are twin sons of different mother's. I believe Frank's mother was a hamster, and his father smelled of elderberries, but have been unable to document that fact. I however am from Maryland and have been a follower of his since about 1969or 70. Dirty Love. Aah,the mind wanders. Have I found a kindred soul?
Welcome to the Hog, enjoy.
Welcome to the forum.

Here's a different perspective, And I didn't even need a "fast" lens! Actually scans of 1990 photos taken from a hot air balloon and one on the ground. I think I used a Canon AE-1. Location was the Jacksonville Air Base and their 50th Anniversary Air Show.
