Really nice stuff, Linda. And since you're "from Maine," I expect you've seen some fog there, too. When I lived back East, I went to Maine specifically FOR the fog (and a few other things as well....)

On our last visit to Orkney we took a day trip down to the island of Ronaldsay to visit the Tomb of the Eagles, a 5,000yo burial cairn. Within minutes of leaving our flat in Palace a heavy sea fog rolled in which lasted the entire day and kept us from seeing the beautiful scenery along the Churchill Barriers. It was about a mile walk from the visitors' centre to the tomb and we were drenched by the time we made it back to the car.
