Sandhill Crane Easter Chicks

One of my favorite nearby locations for birding is also an area where Sandhill Cranes love to nest. I've been watching a nest for about 30 days now and on Easter morning, it hatched. I was lucky enough to be there and capture it. Here's a video of the experience.

Hey thanks for the info. I know they are called, "colts" but the majority of the human population would have no idea what I was talking about if I kept calling them that so I just call them chicks or babies.
