I called my wife in from the den to see this, and she just gasped... It's beautiful...
It does look a lot like my dad's cat Angel, which was the same color, but he was a long hair...
really great portrait!!

You need madam P to straighten things out. Where is she? I miss seeing her & her ways of putting things right.

Following last week's apprehension of the mole who was suspected of selling Ministry secrets to Nanook of the North, the Dark Ladies did all they could to extract information from her. But Omi was a tough nut to crack, wouldn't say a word during the relentless questioning.

The Martian at last flung his paws in the air and said his patience was at an end. His planned invasion of Rhode Island was on hold, costs were rising by the day, and heaven only knew whether his plans were now an open book, with a Nanookian army waiting in ambush at Rhode Island's borders. He placed a call to the Northern Division and Grand Panjandrum Tippit, head of the Kitty Council, who at once dispatched the commander of Seal Team 9-Lives, a ferocious feline with an iron will, known simply as 'The Colonel.'

WOW !! Excellent !!!

Thank you, FiddleMaker. Glad you enjoyed this one, a feral I picked up during that cold snap in early January. Felt bad for him, seeing him starving in the snow and cold. He's indoors and a lot happier now. So he says, lol.

Thanks for stopping by and the kind words, they're very much appreciated!

Thanks, chippy65. He's delighted to be indoors and safe from the coyotes, never mind having a full bowl of cat food handy! Glad you enjoyed the photo, and thanks for the kind comments and visit, they're very much appreciated!

He hasn't been in contact with any of your gang, has he? Is he happy in his room by himself?

Thanks, DragonsLady. The 'Colonel' here is living in isolation, no contact allowed with the others. The virus isn't all that contagious, and indoor cats don't generally bite each other with intent, but why take chances... So he's happy (or seems it--purrpurrpurr) to be indoors and safe, with plenty of good food, lots of toys and cat trees to climb, and I do spend a fair amount of time sitting with him, as he's so sweet.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and visit, always much appreciated!
