One thing that kinda frosts me..
Vegans. Vegetarians. You can always know who is one.
They always always always tell you!!!! I mean WHY!!!
I could care less. Stop telling me about your diet. It’s irritating!! Enough already!!

I knew a couple of vegans that used to join us
at restaurants. It was painful listening to them
quiz the server on every goddamned ingredient
going into their salads. I got steak!
Vegetarians think their diet will make them healthy and live longer, so they broadcast it to anyone that will listen. I'm also on a healthy diet...meat & potatoes and fish.
I'm on a diet too, the seefood diet.
I see food, I eat it.

I feel you, Angmo! As for me, I couldn't survive without some good ole' red beans and rice, or piles and piles of steamed shrimp....mmmmm!

A report has shown that cow farts are one of the major sources of methane - a greenhouse gas. I suggests vegetarians come a close second in this context.
What I don't get is why vegetarians want 'veggie bacon' and 'veggie sausages' etc. I don't want my lettuce to taste of chicken or beans to taste of beef.
If you want something to taste natural - you gotta eat it as it is.
Then there are those who 'decide' that they can't eat something because they are 'allergic'. Yes I accept that some people can be allergic to certain things - my wife gets spots where tomato touches! but you don't just 'decide' this (a no thankyou will suffice). [there are more gluten free products than the few Celiacs could possibly need]
Hey Ho - it just goes to prove that people like to choose what they put into their mouths - and mimic what others spit out of theirs.
Bonne appetite
Actually, Vegetarians are no more healthier than those who eat meat. You still need to eat vegetables, carbohydrates, and lean meat. Six to Eight ounces of lean meat, poultry, or fish daily is enough to maintain your protein needs. Creamy or crunchy peanut butter on whole wheat bread is an excellent source of protein. No tobacco. Cheap or expensive White or Red wine is OK.
Get exercise while doing daily duties. Or more. Carrying camera gear qualifies as exercise.

I’m with you - It can get REALLY tedious. We have a good friend like that, and out of the 20 or so I invite and cook for at Thanksgiving and Christmas, I always have to do special dishes so she’ll have something to eat. It is certainly possible to eat a healthy low fat diet without going to extremes.

I believe the actual problem is cow burps, not farts. Same methane.
I'm a second hand vegetarian. I only eat herbivores.
I am counting my calories these days getting ready for summer. I have counted 8,400 today. I thought is was supposed to help.

I won’t let them get away with even that. They can bring carrots instead. I accommodate religious beliefs of veg/non beef/non-alcohol but not “them”.

You know what they say, why fart it and waste it when you can burp it and taste it.

Meat eats veg., I eat meat. 50% veggie, least that's the way I look at it.
