What make and model trail cam took these fine results?

These are snapshots taken from videos from a Spypoint Force 10 red low glow IR camera. I have a couple and run 30 second videos. I like the camera, the photos and videos are excellent quality, there is no white out on the night IR and batteries last a long time. The only things I do not like about it is it does not imprint data on videos (only on still photos) and there is no sound.

I tried a Spypont Force 11D with sound and imprint but the technology is different it seems. The IR whites out at night and the sound at night has a loud hum as the IR array heats up. I tried two and both had this issue. Battery performance on video was also terrible on the 11D. The force 10 though is an excellent performer for video without sound or imprint.

I have tried various trail cams to get one that works well at night for video with sound and imprint and have been unsuccessful. Cheap ones, Browning, StealthCam, Moultrie. Next up is a Bushnell arriving today. Most of the issues I have with them are poor night time quality ie white out spot light effect or bad battery performance.

Thank you for the specifics, Woodsman. I just purchased a Reconyx Hyperfire and am playing around with settings to see what works best for my needs (wildlife observation on my property). It's my first trailcam and
I'm having fun with it.

Thats what use mine for too, wildlife observation. I took stills for many years and enjoyed them but with the recent upgrades in trail cameras to HD video it really makes the difference in enjoyment viewing the critters. Hard on batteries though at night but its worth it

Wow, Reconyx are high end cameras and outside my price range. You will have a blast with it. My new Bushnell arrived this afternoon and I am testing it out. So far so good, will see how it does overnight. I am going to move one of the Spypoints to the beaver pond. I also got a python cable lock to make it difficult to steal when its around a path others may be on. Reconyx are expensive, you may want to consider investing in a cable lock for yours. My original ones were 5MP Moultrie cameras and huge things, stills only. Absolute monsters compared to todays camera. They ran on 6 x C Cell batteries. They lasted over 5 years and took well over 150K shots each. over the years One is still clicking away on still shots.

One thing to watch for. If your cam has any external ports for plugging in power or USB cables, be sure they have a solid cover and if it ever falls off be sure to tape it over to cover the access hole. For some reason ants are attracted to the electronics in these things and can build inside the housings if they can get inside. I had one that looked fine every day but I had not noticed the external power port rubber cap had come off and when I brought it in to change batteries and opened up the battery compartment the ants spilled out. The cam was ruined. So keep all access ports covered
