Question for the group: I'm wanting to shoot a short video of my Mavic Pro Platinum with my iPhone. Is it cool to fly the Mavic close in with just the remote and not have the phone/App attached? Done it several times with my Spark with no problem but haven't attempted it with the big guy. :-) Ideas and thanks
A monitor/app is not necessary to fly any of the DJI drones. Obviously, it must be kept within easy sight distance, though. I flew my first drone (Phantom 1) for 6 months & I didn't even have an app, lol.
