Has Anyone Ever Seen A Smoke-nado?

Our neighbors were burning the fields today and the wind was blowing just right to create this smoke nado. Never seen one of these before.

Used to call them "dust Devils" back in the late '40's and 50's. See them almost every summer over hot dusty fields. Neat photo, can't recall seeing one that tall!

Yes I have seen dust Devils but never one this tall. I wish I had my camera with me to get a better shot. Thank you.

I've seen them in central Australia. We call them a 'willy willy' over here. Nice shot, Lori.
