Adobe spent the money to write the software. It's their baby. If you want to use it you do it on their terms. Adobe is not alone here. Every software manufacturer puts some sort of limitation on their product. How many of you read the EULA when you install a new program?

Personally I don't find Adobe's limitations onerous. The software is useful to me and does not break the bank. It costs me less than the impulse purchases I indulge in. And I get a lot more value than most of those impulse purchases give me.

The Photographers' package is not going up in price although other portions of the CC suite will.

A sensible a fair point of view!

I got a notice that Adobe is going to raise its CC subscription price but I can't figure out which of their pricing plans applies to the LR Classic/PS CC 2018 bundle. Does anyone know?

And buying ahead is my insurance. Each year B&H has the subscription on sale for $99. I’m good until late 2020.

I hope Bob Yankle, the OP, knows by now that his bill is not going up!.

Are you sure his bill isn't going up? Maybe Adobe is singling him out for some reason.

These threads are a huge waste of time when they go the way they usually go. I see it as simple. If you want Adobe products, subscribe to them. If you don't want them, or don't like the prices, then don't subscribe. Adobe has done nothing new, price wise. Seems very simple to me. I think Lr is a great product at a very fair price. YMMV.

Thank you. I would hope that would end it but it won’t.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm buying more Adobe stock (but not their products)!

At $10/month with free updates. I am satisfied.I purchased On1 2017 only to find out that the upgrade 2018 would cost me.
Same for Luminar.
I just bought my new Apple iMac and in the process of installing everything, Adobe was the easiest.
