I tried all winter to get the Ruby Crowned, but it just didn't happen. We only have them in the winter, and unfortunately they have already headed north to their breeding grounds.I nearly froze my fingers off while waiting to get one, but they are just TOO fast.
I have a couple of photos from years past but they are nowhere near as good as yours. You are not only patient, you are fast!
Cute birds and you did a nice job capturing them.
Great colors. They look tiny, are they?

Not much bigger than your thumb... very small, and very "energetic"...
Excellent close-up photographs.
Well taken/captured.
