All we can do is wait next year to see if Virginia does not have a so called 9th failure. Nothing is guaranteed in life. They flat blew an opportunity because of overconfidence. IMO. They were the best college team in the country. President Truman also said, "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen." They will be outside of it, at least until next year.

I'm a bit surprised to have not yet seen this comment on the debacle from Ecclesiastes (9:11):

I never did think Virginia was good enough to be a #1 seed. My two teams are playing now--Purdue up 3 or 4 at halftime over Butler.

The sad repulsive thing is that VA represented the ACC as the best that we had to offer. I am accepting donations and starting a Go Fund Me page to get the Wahooooies expelled from the ACC. Let them go to the mid-America conference. Maybe they will be stronger there...... They are never better than a 2nd tier team
