Thanks to all for taking the time to view these images. And thank you even more for taking the time to comment. When I sold all of my Canon gear (15 years worth of digital gear can really add up) in favor of the Sony outfit, I gave up my 100-400mm lens, still a little short for wildlife but certainly better than a 200mm. That being said, I've heard a lot of talk about "who needs 42 megapixels". Well, the Sony A7R3 gives me the 42mp. And in this case it gave me a lot of room to crop giving me 'reasonable' shots at 200mm especially if that lens is sharp. And the Sony 70-200 certainly appears to be adequate. I will keep experimenting and will welcome any constructive criticism that will come my way. Thanks again to all.
You captured a nice series of locals! The first shot is stunning. Beautiful and clear with room to soar and a lovely sky!

This is my first attempt at posting images so please be kind :) They are from a recent trip to Florida where I visited the wetlands. I'm not a birder so I don't know anything about the types of birds. Just testing out a 70-200 lens in a wildlife environment and trying to get sharp images. Comments are certainly appreciated.
Camera Buff, excellent set of photos and welcome to UHH.
This maybe your first photo post but for sure you have years of experience as these photos show. Will be looking for more of your images.

Good photos. Keep posting and visiting and you'll begin to learn the different birds. Welcome.
